Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Branva ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit withbranva.com, use our tools, or interact with our services. We've written it to describe what actually happens, in plain language.

Information you give us directly

  • Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter, request a guide or checklist, or submit any form on the site.
  • Phone number — only if you submit a callback-request form. By submitting it you consent to receive a text and email from us about scheduling; reply STOP to any text to opt out.
  • Application and booking details — information you provide when applying to work with us or booking a call.
  • We store this information in our systems, including Google Sheets (Google Workspace) as a processing and record-keeping tool, and use Resend to deliver email. If you request a guide, we send it plus a short follow-up sequence; every email includes a way to opt out, and one reply or unsubscribe stops the sequence.

    Information collected automatically

  • Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, referring source, device type).
  • Advertising pixels — we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure our advertising. If you submit your email or phone in a form, a hashed (irreversibly encoded) version may be sent to Meta to improve measurement accuracy. We never send Meta your raw email or phone number.
  • Visitor identification — we use Leadsy.ai and Snitcher, services that attempt to identify the company a visitor is browsing from (typically by looking up the network your visit comes from) and, in some cases, business contacts associated with it. We use this to understand and follow up with business audiences. See the "Your rights" section to opt out of any follow-up.
  • Blog search queries — searches typed into our blog's search box are logged (the query text only, not linked to your name or email) so we understand what topics readers want.
  • Other measurement scripts — the site may load additional measurement tags that collect standard visit data.
  • Embedded third-party services

Scheduling on our site is provided by an embedded Calendly booking calendar. When you interact with it, Calendly processes the information you enter (name, email, phone, selected time) under Calendly's privacy policy. Some pages embed other content (e.g., fonts, demo frames) that may set their own cookies.

    Storefront audits (Growth Audit)

If you request a Growth Audit, we fetch a small number of pages from the public storefront you give us — roughly two dozen at most, once, one request at a time. Our crawler identifies itself as Branva-GrowthAudit and honours robots.txt. It never logs in, never submits a form, and never touches checkout, account, admin or order paths. No customer data is collected. The full disclosure, including how to block it, is on our crawler page.

What we keep. The page HTML we fetch is discarded once the audit is generated. We retain the store origin, the audit inputs, and the report itself for 90 days, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete an audit sooner — see "Your rights" below.

What we never store. If you connect the audit to an AI assistant, we do not store ChatGPT (or other assistant) access tokens, and we do not store your conversation history. Neither is retained on our systems at any point.

    How we use information

  • Deliver the content, guides, and services you request
  • Schedule and hold calls you book with us
  • Send marketing emails you signed up for (opt out anytime)
  • Measure and improve our website and advertising
  • Identify and follow up with business visitors who may be a fit for our services
  • Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (Google, Meta, Resend, Calendly, Leadsy.ai, Snitcher, and our hosting provider, Vercel) to operate the site and services described here, or when required by law. Storefront audit data is not shared with any of them.

    Data retention

We keep lead and subscriber records while they remain relevant to providing our services or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained per the default retention settings of the tools above.

    Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

    Your rights

    You can, at any time:

  • Access, update, or request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link) or texts (reply STOP)
  • Ask us not to contact you based on visitor-identification data
  • Ask what information we hold about you and how it is processed
  • Request deletion of a storefront audit and its report before the 90-day window elapses, or ask that your domain be added to a permanent crawler block list
  • Email us at the address below and we'll action requests promptly. Depending on where you live (including under Canadian PIPEDA and applicable provincial or state laws), you may have additional statutory rights, which we honor.
